There are several ways to support the Du Quoin Public Library.

Memorial/Honorary Gift

A gift may be made to the Du Quoin Public Library as a thoughtful way to keep memory alive or celebrate a special occasion. Please fill out the provided form and mail it to the Library with your donation.

Memorial Gift Form

Bookplates, if wished, will be added to each new book commemorating the person or event. Handwritten letters acknowledging your gift will be sent to the honoree or family of the person memorialized.

Gifts of Cash

Checks may be made out to the Du Quoin Public Library with the words “Gift” written on the memo line. This money will go to support programming, books, and technology.

Donations of Materials

Books, audio-visual materials, and other items may be donated to the Library. Any item not utilized in the collection may be sold through the Friends of the Library book sales. Tax receipts stating the number of donated items are available, upon request, at the circulation desk.

The Century Club

The Centuy Club was created to help fund new acquistions for the genealogy department. Anyone donating over $100 is entitled to membership in the Century Club. All members names are engraved on a plaque located in the genealogy library.
