If you live within the corporate limits of Du Quoin, you can get a Du Quoin Public Library card at no extra charge, thanks to the property taxes you already pay each year, which help fund and support our library.
If you live outside the Du Quoin limits, don't worry! You can still enjoy our services by paying a non-resident fee of $45.00.
Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian during the application process. All cards expire annually and can be quickly reactivated with an address and phone number check at the library circulation desk.
Regardless of where you live, everyone is welcome to use our computers, WiFi, and printing/faxing services for the corresponding fees.
Community members that do not reside within the corporate limits of Du Quoin, but are within the boundaries of Du Quoin District 300 Schools, may purchase a card by paying an annual non-resident fee. This fee will provide everyone within the household library service for one year.
Current Non-Resident Fee Rate: $45.00
