Get ready to explore the night sky with the Du Quoin Public Library! Join us for a special one-time event: a STAR Party. An evening of stargazing, space-themed fun, and community discovery under the fall sky. This event is partnered with the Astronomical Association of Southern Illinois.
We’ll have telescopes set up for guided viewing of the Moon, planets, and constellations, along with family-friendly activities that bring astronomy to life. This event celebrates the arrival of our library’s new telescope, which patrons will soon be able to check out and use at home!
